Responsibilities
Recruiting: Assist Recruiting Coordinator
Academics: Assist Academic Coordinator
Social Media Coordinator: Responsible for all social networking for women’s basketball team.
Administrative Duties: Responsible for all paperwork pertaining to Travel Authorizations and Official Functions Reports.
Compliance: Complete Monthly Countable Athletic Related Activities (CARA) reports.
Equipment Manager: Order and Distribute practice and game equipment. Responsible for inventory of all equipment.
Team Travel Coordinator: In charge of all aspects of team travel: itinerary, hotel, bus, and meals
Community Service Coordinator: In charge of securing community service opportunities and planning those events. Goal: 20 hours/year as a team: staff and players.
Position Coach: Development of either Posts, Forwards, and Guards. Individual on court workouts and film workouts.
Scouting: Scout ½ of regular season games. Edited film copy and hard copy for players and staff.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Previous competitive experience or coaching experience in the specified sport.
Preferred Qualifications
• Master’s degree.
• Collegiate coaching experience
Salary for Announcement
Under Colorado law, MSU Denver is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role and should not offer a salary outside of the range posted in this job announcement. This range takes into account a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, analysis of internal equity, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be offered a salary at or near the top of the range for a position. Salary offers are determined based on final candidate qualifications and experience.
The salary range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position is $45,000.00- $49,734.00.
This position is paid monthly and is eligible for MSU Denver benefits.
