The Department of Athletics encourages applications for the Academic Coordinator! This position provides overall academic support to the Mission of the Herbst Academic Center (HAC). The Academic Coordinator coordinates and monitors the academic services provided to student-athletes in a professional and collaborative work environment.
This position works directly with student-athletes on designated teams, which may include football or men’s basketball and other Olympic sports, and collaboratively with HAC staff. They develop relationships on campus to benefit the HAC mission.
This position is responsible for promoting the philosophy and objectives of the intercollegiate athletics program, including the dedication to creating and supporting a campus environment where everyone matters and all can thrive. This shall include adhering to the principles of the Athletic Department's Mission Statement, Core Values, Policies and Procedures, as well as the rules and regulations of the HAC, University, the Big 12 Conference, and the NCAA.
