Position Summary:
The Academic Coordinator is a full-time member of the department’s academic support staff and is responsible for the academic advising, monitoring and mentoring of a designated caseload of student athletes. This position serves an integral role within the Athletics Department; ensuring student athletes are offered the services and programs necessary to help them achieve academic success as an NCAA Campbell University athlete. They will also be required to assist in the day-to-day operations of the student-Athlete Support department. This individual must possess a customer service mindset, and display a positive attitude, professionalism, integrity and character in the conduct of all activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Education, Psychology, Sport Administration, Business Management, and/or related field; master’s degree desired.
Experience working in an administrative or student centric support role in higher education; specifically, within an athletic department, desired.
