Major Duties:
Provides high-level administrative support to the Director of Athletics, including calendar management, scheduling, and meeting preparation.
Manages office operations and provides clerical and administrative support to the AD and staff.
Liaison for daily communication on behalf of the AD, including the coordination of necessary meetings.
Supports the office with contact reporting, expense reports, and follow-ups.
Assists with the preparation of presentations, reports, and materials for internal meetings, donor visits, and formal athletic department updates to key stakeholders.
Takes notes during meetings, tracks action items, and ensures timely execution of follow-up responsibilities.

Assists with fundraising efforts, including donor cultivation and stewardship.
Collaborates with other departments on campus and outside constituents.
Maintains strong working relationships with campus departments such as Advancement, Admissions, Finance, and President’s Office.
Maintains confidential personnel files, evaluations, and contract records in accordance with university policies.
Supports special projects, strategic initiatives, and reporting needs by gathering data, developing presentations, and coordinating across internal teams.
Other:
Become familiar with university and athletic department processes, policies, and procedures to ensure effective day-to-day operations.
Maintain the highest level of confidentiality, sensitivity, and security when handling personnel, student-athlete, and departmental data.
Perform other duties as assigned in support of the Director of Athletics and overall athletic department initiatives.

Experience in Microsoft Office products (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) software (preferred)
Comfortable communicating with the campus community (electronically, by telephone, and in person)
Comfortable representing our office to coaches, donors, faculty, and external partners
Ability to stay on task and complete tasks in a timely manner
Maintains a high level of confidentiality
Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment
Professional attitude and appearance are necessary
Read, understand, and consistently apply and adhere to LCU policies and University department procedures
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Collegiate Athletic Experience preferred
Physical Requirements:
While performing the essential duties of this job, the employee will be required to do the following:
Be ambulatory around campus and in buildings.
Required to regularly sit and stand.
Frequently use wrist, hands and/or fingers to make small repetitive movements such as typing, distributing mail and picking up small objects.
Ability to talk frequently to convey detailed and/or important instructions or ideas accurately, loudly or quickly.
Be able to hear average or normal conversations and receive verbal information.
Required to lift packages and/or move heavy objects, 25+lbs.
