Job Description

Creighton University is seeking to hire an Administrative Assistant I to support the Athletics Department. This is a full-time role working in a great space and location!

Key Responsibilities

  • Handles routine telephone calls and email correspondence through the office. Coordinates meetings and manage schedules/calendars of various staff within the office. Coordinates travel arrangements, new staff on boarding materials, and office supply purchasing. Processes invoices, expense reimbursements and direct payment requests.
  • Receives, sorts and distributes incoming mail. Composes and prepares a variety of information, including memos, letters, and reports including critical information that may be time sensitive.
  • Analyze and update unit operating policies, such as record keeping systems, forms control, office layout, personnel and budgetary requirements and performance standards; makes recommendations as necessary.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required;

  • 2 years' administrative and/or office management experience;

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
