Job Summary

Director of Operations for the University of Utah Women’s Softball Team. Will work with staff to organize and carry out daily operations of the team on and off the field

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include the systematic management of all operational needs associated with an intercollegiate athletics sports program. Responsibilities will vary but may include: hiring, evaluating, and supervising personnel; managing business relationships and/or processes; working with internal and external constituencies; complying with

, Conference, and Institutional rules and regulations. Other responsibilities include managing and executing communication and schedules within the team on the designated app. Organize and coordinate transportation, hotel arrangements, meals, practice times, and sites for team travel while operating within the travel budget. Develop itineraries for travel, recruiting, and other events. Serve as liaison with departments within athletics (compliance, equipment, event management, business, academics, marketing, etc). Plan, organize and coordinate all logistics of the camps. Assist in all aspects of the team operations – recruiting emails, meeting minutes, various practice responsibilities, and other duties as assigned by the head coach. Assist with hiring, supervising, and evaluating of team managers.
