Position Details:
The Annual Giving Coordinator is a key member of the WSU Cougar Athletic Fund staff, aiding in the day-to-day management of the annual scholarship fund. Primary responsibilities include developing and implementing membership strategies to meet fundraising goals, coordinate annual fund campaigns and events, and provide excellent customer service through donor engagement, stewardship, and account management.
As the Annual Giving Coordinator, you will work as part of a team to ensure data is maintained and used accurately for campaign and marketing implementation. In addition, as the coordinator, you will assist in evaluating the performance of the annual fund and communication pieces aimed at regularly maintaining and growing the fund.
Additional Information:
This is a full time (100% FTE), permanent position. This position is overtime eligible.
Monthly Salary: $3,750.85 - $5,397.56 | Commensurate with experience and qualifications
In accordance with RCW 49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate’s current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position.

Required Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of experience, which includes six (6) months of full-time experience in marketing, gift solicitation or public contact work with evidence of ability to work collaboratively, communicate effectively orally and in writing and organize and execute assignments. A Master’s degree in a relevant field may be substituted for up to one (1) year of the required experience. Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
Must have, or be able to obtain by time of hire, a valid driver’s license and meet requirements in accordance with SPPM 7.10 and departmental driving standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced Degree in related field.
Fund-raising experience in the University/Higher Education environment.
Fund-raising, sponsorship sales, marketing, ticketing or related work experience within intercollegiate athletics.
Work experience that demonstrates excellent written communication skills.
Work experience that demonstrates strong interpersonal skills.
Work experience that demonstrates strong computer capabilities and familiarity with spreadsheets and database systems (Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, alumni/donor applications, E-mail).
Work experience that demonstrates the ability to work autonomously and to establish priorities and follow-up in a timely manner.
