The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and knowledgeable individual who is passionate about developing student-athletes both on and off the mat. This position offers flexible hours that will be determined and agreed upon with the Head Coach.

Job Description:

American International College (AIC) is seeking a part-time Assistant Acrobatics and Tumbling Coach. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and knowledgeable individual who is passionate about developing student-athletes both on and off the mat. This position offers flexible hours that will be determined and agreed upon with the Head Coach.

• Assist in all aspects of coaching, including practice planning, game preparation, and player development.
• Provide on-field instruction during practices and games, focusing on individual skills and team strategies.
• Help with recruitment efforts, including identifying and evaluating prospective student-athletes and maintaining communication with them.
• Contribute to administrative duties as needed, such as managing team equipment, organizing travel, and coordinating logistics for games and events.
• Serve as a positive role model for student-athletes, upholding the values of the college and the athletic department.
• Adhere to all NCATA, conference, and institutional rules and regulations.

Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree is required.
• Previous coaching and/or competing at the collegiate level is preferred (Gymnastics or Cheer included).
• A strong understanding of Acrobatics and Tumbling fundamentals, strategies, and rules.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• The ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as dictated by the team's schedule.
• A valid driver's license.

AIC reserves the right to fill this position at a level above or below the level included in this posting.
