The purpose of the Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Marketing and Broadcasting is to develop a sports marketing presence that would raise funds through local/state wide/national businesses and corporate relationships/sponsorships that would directly support Pfeiffer athletics, itâs programs and student-athletes which would include but are not limited to the selling of signage, digital advertising, media rights opportunities, digital marketing and other media, both in print and electronic.

Serve as the broadcast voice for Pfeiffer athletic events that traditionally require such âtalentâ including Baseball/Softball, Lacrosse, Basketball, Soccer and Volleyball.Â
Schedule additional broadcasters to cover Pfeiffer events as needed.
Would assist in the development of podcasts, video collateral, coaches shows, and other emerging media in collegiate athletics.
Would assist Pfeiffer University Communications and Marketing staff on special projects both athletic and non-athletic related, as requested.
Would provide voice talent (emcee/hosting) for special events both athletic/non-athletic related.
Position would assist with game management duties and other special events as required.Â
Would also assist with the Assistant AD for Communications and with the Internal Operations/Social Media Director on special projects.
Qualifications
Position Requirements
Proficient in professional writing (AP style), not limited to feature writing, technical writing, sports writing and writing for broadcast.
Professional demeanor, Public speaking/performing experience.
Computer Skills Required (but not limited to):
Microsoft Office suite
 Adobe Creative Suite
Email & web applications
Social media, audio/video creation and editing
Live broadcast setup and live broadcast execution.
Education Requirement
Minimum - Bachelor degree from an accredited institution.
