Louisiana Tech University Division of University Advancement is seeking a highly qualified and motivated individual to serve as the Assistant/AssociateAthletic Director for Championship Resources. This individual will report to the Sr. Associate AD for Championship Resources/CRO.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor's Degree Required.
Master's degree preferred.
2+ years of successful fundraising experience in educational/athletics fundraising.
Experience in conducting successful personal solicitations for annual and major gifts.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exhibit professionalism with donor information and legal documents (e.g. pledge, endowment, capital and/or other donor agreements).
Ability to oversee multiple projects.
Demonstrated competence in oral and written communications.
Effective collaboration skills.
Proficiency with basic office software and ability to quickly learn specific software.
Proficiency with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge, EverTrue, Salesloft, or Salesforce software preferred

Duties and Responsibilities
Maintains division core vales (Transparency, Trust, Teamwork) and commitment to advance the mission and vision of the University.
Manage an active, high-volume portfolio of donors/prospects in all aspects of the development cycle. Effectively cultivates relationships with these donors/prospects.
Cultivate, solicit, and steward of alumni, friends, corporations, and other sources for private support that benefits the Athletics programs of Louisiana Tech University.
Demonstrates the impact of philanthropy to donors. Provides information on athletics developments and programs relative to their interest. Shares upcoming opportunities to attend events, volunteer, participate in activities, or otherwise deepen their engagement with the university and athletics department en route to solicitation for financial support.
Exceptional goal orientation. Excellent organizational and prioritization skills. Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Coordinate with the Sr. Associate Athletics Director for Championship Resources to plan and implement strategies and events that develop affinity and support for the athletics programs for Louisiana Tech among all the constituent groups of the University.
Provide development functions for each NCAA sport and for special programs and campaigns.
Participate in monthly staff meetings for University Advancement
Serve as liaison between Athletics and Advancement, in conjunction with Sr. Associate Athletics Director for Championship Resources, and Director of LTAC.
Other duties as assigned by the Sr. Associate Athletics Director for Championship Resources and/or VP/Director of Athletics, and University Advancement leadership.
