This position manages the day-to-day activities for Boise State’s centralized NIL organization, BroncoPro. Through innovative revenue generating concepts and business development strategies, the Assistant AD, BroncoPro will participate in revenue generation activities to drive the budgetary needs for student-athlete revenue-sharing. Additionally, this position will be responsible for serving as one of the main organizational liaisons for all Boise State student-athletes as they pursue authentic name, image, and likeness opportunities. In addition to business development, this position will serve as a core member of the department’s NIL team and will be responsible for contributing to BroncoPro’s key areas of success: Athlete onboarding and education, services and programming, authentic NIL, revenue-share scenario planning, contract management, and athlete agency relations. This candidate will serve as a member of the athletics external affairs leadership team and must display the necessary skills to address BroncoPro’s goals in partnership with departmental leaders in the areas of strategic marketing, revenue generation, and strategic communications.
Provides direct supervision typically to professionals or skilled technical employees at the entry or intermediate level. Functions as an advisor to unit and administration and sets goals and objectives for team members for the achievement of operational results. Analyzes and resolves problems by drawing from prior experiences. Interprets policies (e.g., fiscal management, HR, contracts and grants, resource management in defined areas) and demonstrates solid subject matter knowledge. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and policies to determine appropriate action. Supervises staff to assure accountability and stewardship of campus resources (operational, financial, and human) in compliance with departmental goals and objectives.

● Serves as a liaison to other department personnel, including interacting with managers of different areas of the organization, and presenting findings to stakeholders and higher management.
● Serve as the point of contact for student-athlete representation/agents, financial packages, and BroncoPro contract negotiations in collaboration with core and Olympic sports coaching staff.
● Act as the BroncoPro team liaison to BroncoLife/student-athlete development team on educational programming supporting NIL efforts.
● Work with local, regional, and national businesses and vendors to develop and execute multi-faceted marketing opportunities on behalf of Boise State students.
● Work directly with student-athletes and coaches to promote and protect their name, image, and likeness.
● Maintain consistent communication with student-athletes, coaches, and staff regarding opportunities and best practices in the NIL space, including but not limited to: corporate partnerships; outside representation; group licensing; brand building; financial literacy; tax education;and contract due diligence.
● Assist with strategizing, obtaining,g and stewarding department trade partnerships.
● Perform other duties as assigned.
● Serve as a primary contact for the department’s revenue-sharing and NIL software partner, Teamworks GM.
● May perform other duties as assigned.
● Ability to interact effectively as a member of a team and work collaboratively with faculty and staff.
● Use consultative skills with an ability to ask guiding questions that lead to best practices for data analysis and actionable follow-through.
● Project management skills demonstrating strong conceptual and analytical skills, planning abilities, and sound judgment.
● Prioritize and handle multiple, complex, demanding projects simultaneously.
● Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate issues effectively with administrators, boosters, campus and community partners and to explain technical concepts in non-technical terms to stakeholders.
● Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Analyze situations and resources to identify and recommend solutions leading to new methods of revenue generation and fan engagement.
● Work within a team, deal with ambiguity, manage fast-paced change and tight deadlines, and to contribute what is needed to achieve project goals.
● Knowledge and understanding of the NCAA rules and regulations regarding compliance issues.
● Knowledge of the emerging revenue-generating fields within intercollegiate athletics and the community.
● Knowledge of name, image, and likeness best practices in the areas of: brand management, authentic NIL, business development, contract terminology and workflow, and revenue-sharing.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent plus 2 years of relevant experience

Salary starts at $71,400 annually and is commensurate with experience.
