• Knowledge of budget management, financial and managerial accounting principles and financial analysis
• Experience in a financial role, preferably in collegiate athletics.
• Intermediate Excel skills using Pivot tables, data queries, and all intermediate formula development
• Strength in developing/managing organizational processes to maximize efficiencies with limited resources
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Aptitude for learning and thriving in a team setting.
• Ability to work on-campus in New Hampshire.
• Advanced degree in Business Administration or Sports Management preferred.
• Five or more years working in an intercollegiate athletics finance role.

Job Duties
| Duty/Responsibility |
Be closely involved with the external relations team and their efforts to generate revenue by providing oversight of administrative and backend financial support. This includes, but is not limited to, monthly credit card reconciliation, standard and ad hoc reporting, and assisting with internal/external accounts payable/receivable. Will be available to provide updates given by the CFO Office and/or requested items by the department. Will provide key support in future revenue generating projects. Act as primary liaison between CFO financial team and Athletics.

Coordinate, manage, monitor, and participate in the annual budgeting process with Finance and all Athletics units to ensure Athletics remains within financial targets established by the Director of Athletics and CFO. Provide key support to Director of Athletics and senior team in managing and keeping the budget on track. Identify strategies to streamline spending where available and provide key support to revenue generating initiatives. Work with the Deputy Director of Athletics, External Operations to ensure alignment of strategies across external units to achieve external revenue targets and position UNH Athletics to maximize opportunities to grow fanbases for its athletic programs and support student-athletes.
Using ERP reporting or other reporting tools, identify and address budget overspending and shortfalls working with Athletics to resolve, relaying solutions to finance team.
Act as primary contact for budget related issues working with Athletics and Finance to address and resolve.

Manage all unit specific financial and business operational aspects including, but not
limited to FOAPAL documentation, general policy questions, general procurement questions, internal billing, NCAA travel and event office processes, 50/50 raffles, and other operational processes as needed.
Provide reporting, reconciliation, and financial administration for major department endeavors including, but not limited to, youth summer camps, outside/third-party events, ticket office, various revenue reconciliations, and other needs as required.
Collect, organize, and manage all department employment contracts after they have been initiated. This includes, but is not limited to, authentication and implementation of bonus payments (including summer camps), annual budgeting for bonuses, additional pay, and contract fulfillment.
Manage and oversee external contracts with vendors and other services as assigned by Director or designee. |

Oversee, manage, and coordinate filing of annual NCAA audit acting as point person for data collections, consolidation, and filing .Take on projects and ad hoc requests regarding the fiscal and operational administrative aspects of the Department of Athletics.
