The Assistant Athletic Director for Annual Giving (Cardinal & Black Fund), is responsible for the overall management and strategic planning of
athletics annual giving, consisting of annual contributions designated towards the Cardinal & Black Fund (CBF), Excellence Funds for each
intercollegiate sport. It oversees all special events in conjunction with the Coordinator of Special Events For Athletics. The Assistant Athletic Director of Athletics for Annual Giving reports directly to the Associate Athletic Director for External Relations.
Athletics Annual Fund – Cardinal & Black Fund - 50%
Work collaboratively with the UCM Alumni Foundation and development team to create and manage a comprehensive fundraising plan and appeal schedule for the Cardinal & Black Fund(CBF):

Athletics Annual Fund – Cardinal & Black Fund - 50%
Work collaboratively with the UCM Alumni Foundation and development team to create and manage a comprehensive fundraising plan and appeal schedule for the Cardinal & Black Fund(CBF):
Analyze giving data, generate reports, and use metrics to evaluate campaign effectiveness and inform future strategies.
Varsity C-Club - 20% - In conjunction with the Varsity C-Club Committee, the Assistant AD for Annual Giving will create from scratch a new Varsity C-Club that will begin with the 27-28 academic year. - The Varsity C-Club will serve former UCM student-athletes and will act as a networking club for that group. - In conjunction with the Associate AD and the Varsity C-Club Committee, the Assistant AD will determine the range and scope of the club, create specific initiatives, develop a promotional plan, and launch the club. - Once the Club has been launched, the Assistant AD will maintain it and continue to refine it as needed.
Donor Stewardship & Engagement - 15% - Coordinate with Associate Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics to ensure proper awarding of UCM Alumni Foundation student-athlete scholarships, donor stewardship, and student-athlete and donor recognition. - Ensure proper gift processing, acknowledgments, and stewardship activities in coordination with the UCM Alumni Foundation, ensuring timely and accurate donor recognition. - Maintain accurate donor records and ensure compliance with University and NCAA policies and procedures.
Special Events - 10** %** - Ensure the planning, coordination and proper execution of all athletic special events, including not limited to: Athletics Auction, First Pitch Banquet, Wrestling Legends Banquet, sport-specific golf tournaments, etc. - In collaboration with department leadership, set revenue, participation, and other goals for athletics special events. - Create and implement strategies to achieve special event goals. - Incorporate special events promotion and planning into broader - CBF communication schedule.
Donor Stewardship & Engagement - 15% - Oversee the Coordinator of Special Events for Athletics in ensuring the planning, coordination and proper execution of all athletic special events, including not limited to: Athletics Auction, First Pitch Banquet, Wrestling Legends Banquet, sport-specific golf tournaments, etc.
Other Duties as Assigned - 5%
Education :
Experience : - One (1) year in a full-time role within an intercollegiate athletics department, university foundation, or a professional sports team OR one (1) year working in fundraising for another entity required.

Full-time staff & 12-month faculty benefits-eligible position: Benefits include competitive salary; health, dental, vision, life insurance, AD & D, long-term disability; 3 weeks paid vacation per year; 3 weeks of accrued sick leave per year; 13 paid holidays; retirement; and generous education assistance for an employee, spouse and dependent children taking classes at UCM.
9-month faculty benefits-eligible position: Benefits include competitive salary; health, dental, vision, life insurance, AD & D, long-term disability; 3 weeks of accrued sick leave per year; 13 paid holidays; retirement; and generous education assistance for an employee, spouse and dependent children taking classes at UCM.
Part-time benefits-eligible positions: Benefits include generous education assistance for the employee.
Temporary, adjunct, student employment, or graduate assistant positions: Benefits are not included.
