Additional responsibilities include promoting social development, mental health, retention, and successful matriculation. The Assistant Athletic Director for Student Success is responsible for supporting the overall well-being of student-athletes at Eastern New Mexico University, with a primary focus on academic success. Additional responsibilities include promoting social development, mental health, retention, and successful matriculation. This role may evolve in response to the changing needs and experiences of student-athletes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform game administration duties, as needed.
Assist the Assistant Athletic Director (AAD) for Compliance with NCAA, Conference, and institutional compliance.
Assist with eligibility certification in cooperation with the Eligibility Officer/Assistant Registrar
Assist with the monitoring of official and unofficial visits, and other recruiting activities
Prepare files for each prospective student-athlete
Work cooperatively with other university departments, adhering to professional standards and ENMU’s philosophy.
Perform other duties as assigned.
