Job Summary
This is a full-time position responsible for providing counseling and therapy to student-athletes experiencing mental health challenges that impede their ability to perform in school and in sport. The position involves consultations with athletic trainers, sports medicine professionals, academic advisors, specialists, coaches, and administrators in the athletic department. This position is critical to the Built4Life service delivery for the more than 600 student-athletes at BYU. The Mental Health Counselor will be part of a Built4Life team that provides a holistic approach to the overall student-athlete experience.
