Bachelor’s Degree with one year experience in higher education and two years of administrative experience. Intermediate to high intuitive level software skills, intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe and Legacy system. Attention to details, highly organized, critical thinking and multi- tasking ability.
Any qualifications to be considered as equivalents, in lieu of stated minimums, require the prior approval of the Human Resources Director.
Master’s Degree with more than three years experience, with part at SRSU or other related experience. Word processing, database, and spreadsheet computer program skills.
Summary
Function: Oversight of all athletic related business processes including procurement, travel, budget, requisitions, purchasing, ticket reporting and reconciliation.
Scope: Independently coordinates routine office or departmental clerical work according to established procedures and may process varied, complex or large volumes of material. Knowledge of the NCAA Division II and Lone Star Conference (LSC) policies and procedures as well as rules and regulations.
Duties
Essential: Performs tasks related to business and finance for the athletic department. Works in conjunction with the Vice President of Intercollegiate Athletics to manage and maintain the athletic budgets. Responsible for coordinating procurement and travel for coaching staff and administrators within the athletic department. Processes requisitions. Serves as the liaison between the athletic department and purchasing. Ticket reporting and reconciliation for athletic events including game day management, back end and event set up and running reports. Handles and maintains confidential information including personnel information. May assist with NCAA and institutional reports. Athletic facility liaison, including but not limited to, heavy coordinating events and scheduling events.
Coordination of calendar dates and deadlines laid out by the NCAA and the LSC.
Non-Essential: Duties unique to the particular department and other duties as assigned.
Responsible for personal safety and the safety of others; must exercise due caution and practice safe work habits at all times.

Received: General instructions and work periodically reviewed by department head. Given: student workers and graduate assistant
Working Conditions
Usual: Office conditions-some night and weekends required. The position is Security Sensitive.
Texas Law requires a 60 day waiting period before new state employees are eligible to enroll in health insurance.

The report contains information regarding campus safety and security including topics such as: campus law enforcement authority; crime reporting policies; campus alerts (Timely Warnings and Emergency Notifications); fire safety policies and procedures; programs to prevent dating violence, domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking; the procedures the University will follow when one of these crimes is reported; and other matters of importance related to security on campus. The report also contains information about crime statistics for the three most recent calendar years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus; in On-Campus Student Housing Facilities; in Non-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by the University or a recognized student organization; and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from, the campus. The report also contains fire statistics for any fires occurring in an On-Campus Student Housing Facility during the three most recent calendar years.
