This role will serve as a member of the Notre Dame Sport Medicine Staff in providing health care to all Notre Dame student-athletes. Specifically responsible for all day to day athletic health care needs of the athletic team assigned. Implement a comprehensive program of injury prevention, recognition, evaluation, and immediate care of athletic injuries. Serve as safety contact for hazardous weather. Administratively assist with oversight of all day to day operations, policies and procedures of the department. One week of summer camp medical coverage. Assist the department supervisor in overseeing assistant athletic trainers, as well as coordinating the student athletic trainer program. Monitor and assist with supervision of medical records for accuracy and compliance with

Bachelor’s degree (4 years)
1 to 2 years of experience
Good evaluation skills
Ability to perform in high-stress situations
Excellent communication skills
Must be able to bend, stoop & lift up to 25 lbs
