| Job Summary |
Eastern Washington University is currently seeking an Assistant Athletic Trainer. This position is housed in the athletic department and will report to the Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Medicine. The Assistant Athletic Trainer supervises the care of student athletes competing in the University’s Athletic programs, working primarily with assigned sports, while working with additional programs at the discretion of their supervisor. The Assistant Athletic Trainer is responsible for the prevention, evaluation, management and rehabilitation of injuries within the University’s comprehensive sports medicine program.

The salary for this position is $47,063 (minimum) up to $50,470. Where the hired candidate will begin within this range is dependent on education, experience, and skills. - Travel will be required for team competition based on sport competition schedule.
- Applicants must be able to maintain a thorough knowledge of NCAA and institutional rules, regulations and policies.

- Master’s degree
- Minimum of one (1) year certified experience
- Certifications from BOC
- First Aid/CPR/AED certification
- Experience with therapeutic exercise and manual therapy techniques
- Experience working with sport staff (physicians, strength and conditioning, coaches, and admin)
- License issued by the Washington State Department of Health, or the ability to receive license prior to start date
- Demonstrated ability to apply a responsive and flexible approach that is supportive of the needs including universal access of our students, faculty, staff and the public
