Description of Work

Assist with athletic training room operations for the University of Nebraska Athletic Department. Provide prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of injuries to student athletes in the sport of Men’s & Women’s Track & Field/Cross Country including practice and game coverage, and any required travel. Required to travel with the team which will involve working long hours, nights, weekends, some holidays. The selected candidate will have a demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Minimum Required Qualifications

Professional degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a

CAATE

accredited program). Two years relevant full-time experience required. Excellent interpersonal communication skills essential.

certification and ability to obtain Nebraska State licensure required. Emergency response certification (

, basic life support) required. Must have a valid driver’s license and meet University driver eligibility requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

Two years experience providing treatment and rehabilitation of injuries to student athletes in

Division I. Two years experience covering track & field/cross country program in

NCAA
