Perform a variety of duties involved in the administration, evaluation, treatment, care, and rehabilitation of student-athletes within the University of Nebraska Athletic Department. The focus of responsibilities will be with Football, including practice and game coverage, and any required travel. Working with the team will involve working long hours, nights, weekends, some holidays. Adherence to all

, conference, and institutional rules and regulations will be required.

Professional Degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in athletic training from a
CAATE
accredited program and 2 years relevant full-time experience.

certification and ability to obtain Nebraska State licensure required. Emergency response certification (
CPR
/Basic life support) necessary. Must have a valid driver’s license and meet University driver eligibility requirements.
The ideal candidate may have 2 years or more experience as full-time, certified athletic trainer within
NCAA
and/or professional athletics. Previous experience providing prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of injuries to student-athletes in a football setting.
