Full-Time At-Will
This position provides sports medicine services to student-athletes, with a focus on football student-athletes, including, but not limited to evaluation, diagnosis, management, treatment, rehabilitation and intervention of injuries and illnesses. This position works closely with the Ball State Athletic Administration, Director of Sports Medicine, Athletic Training Staff, Strength & Conditioning staff, and IU Health medical personnel to ensure a safe and healthy environment is in place for the student-athletes. This position also provides sports medicine services for student-athletes during open training room hours and is responsible for providing medical care during practices, games and tournaments, as assigned by the Director of Sports Medicine. In addition, this position has the responsibility of educating, supervising, mentoring and evaluating graduate students and interns.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university by date of employment;
NATA
certification; Indiana Athletic Trainer State License or eligible for licensure.
At least two years of related experience.
Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
Master’s degree.
At least three years of related experience.
Requires successful completion of a background check and education verification.
Graduate Assistants and/or Student Trainers.
NATA
certification. Indiana Athletic Trainer State License or eligible for licensure.

Serve as the athletic trainer for football, and have direct supervision for more sports, as necessary on a daily basis, as assigned by the Director of Sports Medicine.
