The Assistant Athletic Trainer position works within the Athletic Department's comprehensive Sports Medicine Program while ensuring the health and safety of all student-athletes, with a direct focus on the Women's Basketball and Spirit Squads. The role includes assisting in the implementation of policies and programs to promote general student-athlete health and wellness and coordinating care with medical providers.
This position is pivotal in maintaining the highest standards of medical care, compliance with NCAA regulations and ensuring a well-integrated health service approach for all student-athletes. This position is responsible for promoting the philosophy and objectives of the intercollegiate athletics program. This shall include adhering to the principles of the Athletic Department’s Mission Statement, Core Values, Policies and Procedures, as well as the rules and regulations of the University, the BIG 12 Conference, and the NCAA.

Starting salary range is $75,000 - $85,000.
