Job Summary
The Assistant Athletics Trainer II works to provide specialized skills, management, leadership, and administration of the UTSA Athletic Medicine program. Assist in the overall administrative duties of the department. Responsible for assisting with the organization, management, and administration of the Athletic Training Program as well as the supervision, treatment, and rehabilitation of the UTSA men’s and women’s intercollegiate sports programs under University and NCAA policies and philosophies.
Core Responsibilities
Required Qualifications
Four years of experience in the athletic training field at any level.
Current National Athletic Trainers Association Board Certification.
Current State of Texas athletic training license or eligible to receive within 30 days of employment.
Valid driver’s license or ability to obtain one by the first day of employment.
This position requires the ability to maintain the security and integrity of UTSA and its infrastructure.

Physical Demands:
This position will be primarily located on campus. Travel and parking expenses are the employee’s responsibility.
