Job Description:

Budget title:  Division I Assistant Coach (SL-2)

Salary:  Commensurate with experience

Binghamton University, an NCAA Division I institution and member of the America East Conference, is seeking an Assistant Baseball Coach.  This position will assist in all aspects of the baseball program under the direction of the head coach including:

• Conduct practice sessions and teach skill development techniques to enhance player performance
• Develop and execute game planning strategies to optimize team success
• Perform film review and analysis to assess team and opponent performance
• Assist with recruiting efforts, identifying and evaluating prospective student-athletes
• Assist with budgeting, ensuring efficient allocation of resources
• Coordinate team travel logistics, including transportation and accommodations
• Assist with scheduling of games, practices, and other team-related activities
• Serve as an academic advising liaison, supporting student-athletes in their academic progress and compliance with institutional requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree

Preferred:

• Master's degree
• Minimum of 1-3 years' experience at the Division 1 intercollegiate athletics level
