Position Summary

The Assistant Beach Volleyball Coach is responsible for providing coaching and administrative assistance to the Head Beach Volleyball Coach. This position is responsible for promoting the philosophy and objectives of the intercollegiate athletics program, including adherence to all department policies and procedures, as well as the rules and regulations of the university and the NCAA.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• One year of successful collegiate/professional playing or coaching experience.

• Knowledge of NCAA rules and interpretations.
• Ability to work effectively with faculty, staff, and students from a variety of diverse backgrounds and a demonstrated dedication to the full academic and social development of student-athletes.
• Full understanding of providing a quality student-athlete experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Successful experience coaching beach volleyball at the collegiate level.
• Preference will be given to candidates who effectively communicate a plan of action for program improvement.
• Affiliation with highly successful elite program(s).
• Proven successful implementation of offensive and/or defensive strategies.
• Proven significant skill development of student-athletes both individually and collectively.
