Assumes responsibility for the oversight of the administrative operations of the program; coordinates team travel, game day operations, practice security, and court set-up; coordinates video exchange; serves as liaison to campus departments as required; assists in youth camp management; evaluates and implements equipment and facility needs.
Oversees assigned course loads; compiles lesson plans and related course materials; receives and responds to student inquiries; provides instruction to students in applicable subject matter; reviews student performance to determine appropriate grade or credit.
Meets all job safety requirements and all applicable OSHA safety standards that pertain to essential functions.

Videotapes practices, games, and strength training sessions as directed.
Manages equipment inventory and related duties as directed.
Develops and manages strength training program as directed.
Drives passenger vans as required.
Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance.
Assists with training new hires.
Performs other duties as assigned and/or required that are within the level of responsibility for this classification at the discretion of the supervisor.
Equipment Operated: Computer and all other standard office equipment.
Work Schedule: Travel and non-traditional hours.
Supervision Exercised: May exercise supervision over student employees.
Reports to: Head Coach, Women’s Basketball
Required Certifications, Training, and/or Licensures: CPR/AED/First Aid certifications; Annual proficiency in NCAA Certification to Recruit; valid driver’s license.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of: NCAA rules and regulations; university policies and procedures*; office practices and procedures; department/division goals and objectives*; workplace safety practices and procedures*; English grammar and spelling; records management.
Skill in: organization; written and verbal communication; use of office equipment; typing, data entry; computer operation; use of computer software and other programs applicable to the assigned department/division*.
Ability to: exhibit strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills; collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; determine material and equipment needs; use proper research methods to gather data; understand a variety of written and/or verbal communications; maintain records according to established procedures; effectively interact with personnel and public to answer routine questions; train or instruct others; move quickly and effectively from one tasks to another; work independently and in a team environment; develop and maintain effective working relationships.
Minimum Qualifications: At least a bachelor's degree. At least one year of coaching experience, and/or experience playing basketball, and/or coordinating operations; must be able to work flexible hours and travel extensively; must hold a valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications: Collegiate basketball coaching experience and/or collegiate playing experience in Division I women’s basketball. Experience coordinating operations for a collegiate sports team.
