POSITION: Assistant Coach – Cheerleading (PT)
Requirements: A bachelor’s degree is preferred. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, customer service, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Attention to detail and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations are essential. Candidates must be self-motivated, capable of making independent decisions, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Creativity and innovation are also valued. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, along with familiarity with other Microsoft Office applications, is required. The candidate must consistently represent the University in a professional manner and demonstrate the ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all situations. Must demonstrate respect for others in the workplace and a commitment to creating a supportive work environment that values the contributions of all employees.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Teach collegiate level cheerleading skills.
Assist the head coach in conducting practices and supervising team at performances and games.
Assist the head coach in recruiting efforts including hosting prep-clinics and attending clinics to evaluate potential cheerleaders.
Maintain CPR and AACCA safety certification and knowledge of competition and safety rules.
Assist in team community service and community engagement projects.
Assist in team fundraising activities.
Perform other duties assigned by the Head Coach.
Hours of Employment: Primarily evening hours, typically 8-10pm as well travel to games, performances, events and Competitions. Must be flexible enough with hours to meet the needs of the team and the University. Some weekends and travel will be required.
