Position Summary

ASSISTANT COACH/DIRECTOR OF BASKETBALL OPERATIONS & PLAYER DEVELOPMENT – WOMEN’S BASKETBALL
Department of Intercollegiate Athletics
Full Time/Term

Primary Responsibilities

  • Coaches, recruits, and provides academic oversight for student-athletes
  • Performs administrative duties related to the women’s basketball program
  • Assists the head coach and assistant coaches with all areas of the women’s basketball program including, but not limited to, equipment management, community service, team travel planning, and supervising student managers
  • Implements, promotes and coordinates all Southeast Missouri State University women’s basketball camps
  • Plans women’s basketball budget and tracks all expenses
  • Assists with technical or tactical instruction to student-athletes related to basketball
  • Promotes Southeast Missouri State University and the athletics program through community involvement
