Assistant Coach, Field Hockey (PT)

Job Summary

This position will assist the Field Hockey Coach with the organizing, planning and coaching of the Field Hockey team. The ideal candidate is a former collegiate player who specializes in coaching goalies and is looking for a career in college coaching.

Essential Functions

• Assist the Field Hockey team during practices and games. Coaching goalies as the primary focus of duties.
• Assist with session planning and collaborate with coaching staff.
• Assist with athletic and academic student-athlete development.
• Assist in the coordination of team travel with other lacrosse and athletic department staff.
• Follow all university, athletic department, NCAA, and CAA rules and policies.
• Assist in the planning and organization of on campus recruiting and camps and clinics.
• Assist the Head Coach with other duties to ensure the success of the program such as fundraising, operations, and logistics.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of Bachelor's Degree.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Preferred Qualifications

• Former collegiate lacrosse player or coach and knowledge of coaching goalies.

Additional Information
This is a Part-Time Per Diem position classified as Non-Exempt. The offered pay is based on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
