Reporting to the Head Coach, the Assistant Coach
III
, Men’s Basketball assists in the organization, planning, teaching, and coaching of all practices and games. This position requires frequent travel as well as evening and weekend work.
Assists Head Coach in the individual skill development of student-athletes.
Evaluates, identifies, and recruits quality student-athletes in compliance with the University, Atlantic 10, and
NCAA
regulations and policies.
Complies with all
NCAA
, Atlantic 10 and University rules and regulations.
Performs administrative functions as assigned.

Not responsible for supervision or oversight of others.
Attends fundraising and community service events upon request to support the program.
Operates University-owned or leased vehicles to transport students, staff, and/or equipment in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and insurance requirements.
Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 3 years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Understanding and knowledge of
NCAA
rules and regulations.
Excellent computer skills.
High-level organizational skills.
Demonstrated commitment and motivation to building a successful program.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience with an
NCAA
Division I basketball program.
Valid Driver’s License.
