Overview:

Quinnipiac University seeks applications for an Assistant Coach for Men's Ice Hockey. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who possesses a strong knowledge of hockey, demonstrated ability to teach, and a passion for continued growth to make a great impact with individual and team development on and off the ice by contributing to practices, meetings, and other focused sessions. You will also be responsible for the identification and recruitment of elite student-athletes.

Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to the highest standard of academic integrity and work in compliance with all University, ECAC Hockey and NCAA rules and regulations
  • Identification, recruitment, and retention of elite student-athletes
  • Knowledge and experience to contribute to practice design & delivery, positively impacting individual and team development
  • Mentor student-athletes to aspire and achieve academically and athletically
  • Facilitate individual and team video sessions
  • Analyze Quinnipiac and opponent game film in preparation of competition strategy
  • Ability to conduct high level individual skill sessions
