The Assistant Men’s Soccer Coach reports to the Head Coach and serves as a member of the department staff that is committed to excellence and advancing the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics through its strategic plan and vision. | | Job Duties and Responsibilities |
- Assisting the Head Coach in all aspects of the program including, but not limited to, coaching, recruiting and roster management, game planning, and player development. - Administrative responsibilities as assigned by the Head Coach may include, and are not limited to, coordinating the logistics for team travel, the procurement of all team-related gear, equipment, supplies and services, and scheduling. - Ensuring compliance with NCAA Division I, Atlantic Sun, and University rules and regulations. - Working collaboratively with Athletic Academic Advising to monitor academic progress and student-athlete success. - Working collaboratively with Sports Medicine staff to ensure proper safety and injury management protocols are followed. - Serving as a role model for student-athletes, promoting positive team behavior and sportsmanship. - Other duties as assigned.
