Assistant Coach, Player Development

Job Summary:

Assists with coaching duties for the Women’s Basketball program, operating under NCAA bylaws, including
taking the lead in preparing student-athletes for personal, academic and athletic development success.
Assists the head coach with recruitment and training for athletic competition, and participates in the
overall coordination of the program, as appropriate.

Full Job Description:

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assists head coach in organizing, preparing team practices, training, and competition.
Leads, monitors and coordinates individual training and practice sessions, ensuring that all appropriate safety guidelines and standards are maintained.
Identifies and recommends recruitment of potential student-athletes for the Men’s Basketball program, in accordance with WCC and NCAA rules, regulations, guidelines, and standards.
