Our division is comprised of leading student affairs experts who support our campus on pressing student life matters including public service, health, wellness, social justice, residential living, food services, sports, recreation, career services, and student activities and organizations including sorority and fraternity life. The Field Hockey Assistant Coach/Recruiting Coordinator supports the head coach in the planning and operation of the Cornell Women’s field hockey program. This includes assisting with practice and games; preparation as assigned; evaluating performances and making recommendations to the head coach regarding individual participation in games. The Assistant Coach/Recruiting Coordinator looks to identify, encourage, and evaluate application and acceptance of student athletes at Cornell in accordance with Ivy League, NCAA and University policies as assigned by the head coach.

This is a 12-months per year, full-time position.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with up to 1 years field hockey experience (coaching or competitive collegiate playing) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven success and potential in coaching, recruiting, and in working with student-athletes.
  • Highly motivated with an outstanding work ethic and a relentless recruiter.
