Knowledge of

NCAA

soccer rules and regulations.

Knowledge of general university policies and procedures.

Prior experience playing or coaching soccer at the collegiate level.

Ability to prepare and conduct training for soccer student-athletes.

Skill in the assessment and recruitment of prospective soccer student-athletes.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelors degree with additional consideration for Masters degree.

Coaching License.

Job Description

Texas State University is seeking applications for the position of Assistant Soccer Coach. This position is a 12-month appointment, full-time and benefits eligible position.

Job Duties

The Assistant Soccer Coach is responsible for the coaching of student-athletes during practice and games, the assessment of prospective student-athletes, and administrative duties as assigned. The assistant coach will also help with video analysis, fundraising, and purchasing.
