Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience, high school level softball playing experience, strong communication skills and teaching/coaching skills, a valid driver’s license and a driving record acceptable to the University’s insurance carrier, ability to perform all job duties in accordance with NCAA, Conference, and University rules, regulations, policies, procedures and guidelines.
Desired Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree, collegiate level playing experience, 1-2 years of coaching experience.
Position Purpose
To assist the Head Softball Coach in administering all aspects of an educationally sound and competitive Division I women’s softball program.
Job Duties
Practice, planning and game preparation, on-field duties along with office duties, video analysis of practice and game film, organizing of team community service events, planning team travel itineraries and other assigned duties.
