Assistant Coach, Strength and Conditioning

Felician University is presently offering an exciting opportunity for an dedicated, knowledgeable and experienced strength and conditioning professional to assist the Head Strength and Conditioning  Coach with the design, implementation, instruction and supervision of sport-specific strength and conditioning programs for a wide variety of men’s and women’s collegiate sports.

Required Education:

Bachelor’s Degree required

Qualifications:

Certification as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the NSCA or Strength and  Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC) through the CSCC; CPR/AED and First Aid Certified; 1-3 years’ related collegiate athletics experience; proficiency with Microsoft and Microsoft 365; well-developed verbal and written communications skills; proved presentation skills, ability to communicate vision and content to diverse constituencies, including but not limited to, students, staff, faculty, potential donors and other external stakeholders; demonstrated enthusiasm, energy and passion for the support and promotion of University athletics; strong collaborative skills, with the ability to develop, foster and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse group of internal and external partners; ability and willing ness to support and promote the Felician Franciscan core values and mission of the University.
