| Job Summary/Basic Function |
Position provides expertise, leadership, organization and supervision in all aspects of the Strength and Conditioning program. Develop and coordinate specific training programs and activities to increase the athletic performance of student-athletes in both practice and competition through the improvement of strength, speed and cardiovascular conditioning. Assists head coaches with the organization and supervision of strength and conditioning with the assistance of their strength and conditioning staff with emphasis on football and men’s basketball. This position will also work closely with our Registered Dietitian to collaborate and develop nutritional strategies for our student-athletes.

Required:
National Strength and Conditioning Association (CSCS) or a Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches (CSCCa) certification

| Preferred Qualifications |
Preferred:
Masters Degree in an appropriate specialization from an accredited institution
Three years of Division 1A collegiate experience
Certified by the National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification
Eligible for licensure as an athletic trainer in the state of Utah
Extensive Communication and organizational skills
Background in sports performance nutrition
Knowledgeable in NCAA rules relevant to recruiting, supplements, and exercise
