Academy of Art University Athletics serves as the lone Art Institution in all of NCAA Division II. The Urban Knights teams have made over 45 postseason appearances, including men’s and women’s Cross Country & Track and Field.

We are currently seeking an Assistant Coach, Strength & Conditioning to join our amazing Athletics Team. This is a wonderful full-time opportunity that will enable you to combine your passion for sports and education to support our aspiring artists and student-athletes.

The Assistant Coach, Strength & Conditioning is responsible for supporting management in the related responsibilities for a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II athletic program. This position will assist the Head Coach, Strength & Conditioning and Sports Medicine Staff.

The Assistant Coach, Strength & Conditioning also supports the teams with the following responsibilities:

  • Supervise the year-round strength program for men’s and women’s intercollegiate sports as assigned, which includes:

  • Work effectively with students, faculty, staff, and administration.

  • Ensure that all activities are operated in compliance with NCAA, Pacific West Conference and University rules and regulations.
