Assists with the development and administration of strength and conditioning programs of Nova Southeastern University Athletes.

Essential Job Functions:
Enforces Strength and Conditioning Policies. Enforces daily responsibilities of graduate assistant and student assistant. Compliance of weight room rules including emergency procedures.
Compliance of Strength and Conditioning principles. Permits only approved exercise to be done in the weight room. Ensures proper exercise technique, proper exercise overload and proper exercise progressions.
Program development and administration.
Assists in developing strength and conditioning programs:
Winter conditioning
Summer Conditioning
In-season
Red-shirt programs
Incoming freshman programs
Take home summer conditioning manuals
Keep the athlete workout files updated
Testing and Evaluation
Responsible for setting up and testing
Assist in maintaining data base on computer
Athlete files
Testing records on individual athletes progress
Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education: Bachelor's Degree

Required Experience: Two (2) years experience working within collegiate athletics.
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters Degree
Experience with Olympic lifting, movement screening, mobility, and recovery.
Certified by ISSN (CISSN).
