  • $64,800 - $67,080 annual, Exempt

Purpose of Position

The purpose of the Assistant Coach - Women's Basketball position is to assist the Head Women’s Basketball Coach with all aspects of a Division I program. This position provides comprehensive assistance to the Athletics Department in the area of providing instruction to the team. This position will provide instruction to the team that includes, but not limited to, teaching proper skills and techniques, teaching basic physical health concepts to include nutritional education, and teaching team & individual leadership concepts/skills as well as providing general safety instruction. Must have a commitment to compliance with all NCAA rules and regulations. Must provide support and encouragement and ensure the safety and well-being of the student-athletes.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide Instruction Specific to the Women's Basketball Team 

    • Design instructional/training in-season/off-season specific to assigned player groups and individuals.
    • Teach basic physical health concepts (to include nutritional education) specific to assigned player groups and individuals.
