Quinnipiac University seeks an Assistant Coach, Women's Basketball to assist the Head Coach with program management including coaching, administration, coordination and recruitment of a collegiate Women’s Basketball program. This position will serve as the recruiting coordinator for the women’s basketball program and will also focus on the total development of the basketball student-athlete.

Assist the Head Coach in managing and directing the basketball program

Maintain adherence and compliance with NCAA rules and regulations and university policies
Other duties, as assigned
Bachelor's degree required
Experience may substitute for some of the above education
Preference will be given to candidates with previous successful Women’s basketball playing and/or coaching experience at the college level
Experience in recruiting is strongly preferred
Experience with the administration and coordination of a collegiate Women’s basketball program which focuses on the total development of the basketball student-athlete is preferred
Proven aptitude for coaching as illustrated by a strong work ethic, organizational skills, computer skills, and the ability to interact professionally within the department, the campus, and the national basketball community
Ability to manage a 2-3 hour practice
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
Ability to work nights and weekends
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with individuals from varied backgrounds
