Job Description:

This position will assist the head women’s basketball coach with management, operations and recruiting for the women’s basketball program.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with team practice planning, game strategy and player development.

• Coordinate travel and game schedule.

• Academic and strength and conditioning team liaison.

• Prepare scouting material and conduct scout meetings.

• Effectively recruit the best athletes within institution, conference and NCAA guidelines.

• Be aware and maintain a safe and healthy environment for the student-athlete.

• Knowledge of NCAA rules and guidelines regarding Division I basketball recruiting and coaching.

Minimum Qualifications:

EDUCATION

• Bachelor's degree.

EXPERIENCE

• 3 years coaching experience.

• Valid state driver’s license.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Knowledge of NCAA rules and guidelines regarding Division I basketball recruiting and coaching.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Division I coaching experience.
