• Assist the Head Coach in directing an effective varsity athletic program in all aspects.
• Primary coaching responsibility focused on the offensive areas of strategy and individual skill development.
• Analyze game films and practices and help formulate game and practice strategies.
• Assist in the teaching, coaching, training, and motivating the program's student-athlete to perform at the highest level through organized and individual team sessions.
• Help foster an environment within the program that supports the department's mission of personal growth and integrity, diversity, leadership, sportsmanship, respect, and a commitment to academic and athletic excellence.
• Assist with breaking down game film and scouting opponents.
• Responsible for knowing and abiding by NCAA, CAA and University rules and regulations.
• Recruit potential student-athletes both on and off campus, organize official visits, participates in unofficial visits.
• Liaison for Compliance in regards to Admissions & Financial Aid; admissions pre-reads.
• Assist with Compliance Rules - complete weekly participation and practice reports.
• Help monitor the academic progress of student-athletes.
• Handle all travel arrangements for Women's Lacrosse program through the Department's business office, including itineraries, organizing meals, travel practices, transportation, etc.
• Continue established efforts and create new initiatives as dictated by program in regards to fundraising events.
• Assists with phone-a-thon, distributing related correspondence.
• Assists with social media for program.
• Coordinates alumni events.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience. (Please review the Equivalency Chart for additional information.)
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience.
• Ability to coach Offense in the sport of lacrosse.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
• Valid Driver's License.

Preferred Qualifications

• Collegiate playing experience.
