The Stanford University Department of Athletics, Physical Education, and Recreation is currently accepting applications for the position of Assistant Lightweight Rowing Coach. This is a one-year fixed term position.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Assist the Head Coach of the Women's Rowing program of a Division I athletics program. Responsibilities include assisting with the administration of recruiting, training, practice, fundraising, budget management, and team travel. Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Help plan and organize team training and practice sessions.
  • Assist with recruiting student-athletes to compete at Stanford. Follow NCAA and IRA guidelines and University standards and policies in coordinating recruiting efforts.
  • Help arrange for transportation of team and equipment to and from practices and competitions.
  • Understand and apply NCAA and IRA regulations to all aspects of program.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Head Coach or her designee.
