Position Summary/Purpose of Position:

The Assistant Coach will assist the head coach with the organization, development and implementation of a nationally competitive NCAA Division I women’s soccer program. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting with scouting, recruiting, coaching, practice and game scheduling, developing and maintaining effective interaction with students, colleagues, university staff, alumni, media, and the general public; knowledge of and commitment to compliance with all NCAA, Big Ten and University rules and regulations as well as dedication to full academic development of student-athletes; and performing other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required. Must have a minimum of five (5) years of coaching experience. Must have knowledge of NCAA rules andregulations. Candidate should have administrative and organizational experience as well as computer skills.

Preferences:

Preferences include: a minimum of five (5) years of coaching experience at the NCAA Division I college level; demonstrated experiencewith video editing and developing a scouting report, i.e., Huddle, Sports Code, etc.; experience with the coaching and technical trainingof field players, both individually and as a group; and experience recruiting at the NCAA Division I level.
