Job Summary

Drexel University is seeking a qualified candidate for a Women's Soccer Coach to work on an as-needed basis. This position will assist the Women's Soccer Coach with the organizing, planning and coaching of the Women's Soccer team. The ideal candidate is a former collegiate player who specializes in coaching goalkeepers and is looking for a career in college coaching.

Essential Functions

• Assist the Women's Soccer team during practices and games, with emphasis on session planning and collaborations with coaching staff.
• Primary focus on coaching goalkeepers.
• Assist with student-athlete development athletically and academically.
• Assist the head coach with other duties to ensure the success of the program such as fundraising, operations, and logistics.
• Assist in the coordination of team travel with other soccer and athletic department staff.
• Follow all university, athletic department, NCAA, and CAA rules and policies.
• Assist in the planning and organization of on-campus recruiting and camps and clinics.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree.
• Valid Driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications

• Former collegiate soccer player or coach and knowledge of coaching goalkeepers.

Additional Information

This is a Part-time Per Diem position classified as Non-exempt. The offered pay is based on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
