Monitor policies, programs, and practices that ensure that the Georgia Tech Athletic Association (GTAA) and its sports programs are in compliance with all rules and regulations as defined by GTAA, the Institute, the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC), and the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and assist the senior counsel for athletics with GTAA's contract administration.

Job Duty 1 -
Communicate to and advise athletics coaches, staff, and student-athletes regarding all applicable NCAA, ACC, and Georgia Tech/GTAA rules and policies.
Job Duty 2 -
Monitor conduct relative to applicable rules and regulations in the investigation and report of possible infractions
Job Duty 3 -
Direct student-athletes as appropriate toward assistance with financial aid, academics, and general needs administrated through GTAA
Job Duty 4 -
Monitor recruiting actions including the precertification process, initial eligibility, and continuing eligibility status
Job Duty 5 -
Administrator and monitor the National Letter of Intent program
Job Duty 6 -
Manage and track the athletic department's contract administration in coordination with the Senior Counsel - Athletics
Job Duty 7 -
Coordinate contract approval process as required
Job Duty 8 -
Provide reports to the Senior Counsel - Athletics and the athletics senior leadership team regarding contract renewals or expired contract terms
Job Duty 9 -
Coordinate with the athletics business office to ensure compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and contract terms
Job Duty 10 -
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Experience
One to three years of job-related experience - in NCAA compliance and/or contracting specialist-related experience
Preferred Educational Qualifications
Juris Doctor Degree from an American Bar Association-accredited law school
Salary Min $53,687 through MRP $73,016
