The Assistant Director, Business Operations – Revenue holds the responsibility of timely and effective reconciliation of revenue, encompassing ticketing, gift, event, and ad-hoc revenue, within the Miami Athletics Business Office.

1. Educate

• Serve as a resource for all staff regarding PCI Compliance policies and procedures, including the use of credit card machines.
• Assist in maintaining and reviewing the Athletic Business Office policies and procedures manual, offering recommendations for enhancements when necessary.
• Ensure an efficient system for receiving, posting, and depositing revenue, and educate staff if/where necessary.
• Ensure adherence to NCAA, Atlantic Coast Conference, institutional, and departmental policies and procedures.
   

2. Process

• Prepare daily revenue deposits, encompassing ticketing, gift, event, and ad-hoc revenue.
• Assist the Associate Director, Business Operations with monthly financial close by ensuring timely revenue reconciliations and submitting journal entries.
• Assist with/support monthly balance sheet account reconciliations, collaborating with the University Controller’s Office to address any variances or inquiries.
• Maintain and reconcile gift fund accounts.
• Assist in invoicing and collecting accounts receivables.
   

3. Support

• Provide support with audit preparations, including reconciling ticket stock inventories and all regular (and hosted postseason) athletic events.
• Assist with internal/external auditor reviews by compiling data and providing necessary supporting documentation.
• Provide revenue-related information to the Executive Associate AD for Business Operations, Assistant AD for Business Operations, and/or Associate Director, Business Operations.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
