Department Summary

The University of North Texas competes as a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (

) and the American Athletic Conference. North Texas’ athletic programs are classified as

NCAA

Division I, the largest and highest division among all colleges and universities. The 46,000 square-foot Athletic Center located off South Bonnie Brae Street is the centerpiece of North Texas athletics. Athletics strives to conduct a competitive athletics program that promotes faculty, staff, student and community affiliation and participation with the North Texas Athletics. Provide facilities which attract the highest level of talent and allow student-athletes to perform at the highest level in practice and during competition.

Position Overview

To assist in all digital and multimedia needs for football, including, but not limited to, content for social media, recruiting, internal coach usage, official website MeanGreenSports.com,

video boards at football venues and special events.

| Minimum Qualifications |

Bachelor’s Degree in in related field and two years of related experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Job Duties

Provide relevant feature video content for social media accounts and MeanGreenSports.com.

Provide highlight and sizzle videos for football to help create interest from recruits, fans and
donors.

Assists with identifying and implementing new and creative strategic video plans for football.

Produce content to be used externally for events, including highlight videos.

Assist in special projects as they relate to community outreach efforts.

Maintain equipment to ensure that all elements are working properly for live event coverage.

Assist coaching and support staff with internal projects used to tell message of football program.
